Product quality had not changed or diminished.Sometimes we leave it on for days because we forget to turn it off.It’s bright and really lights up a room. The lasers are real, so be careful with any eye contact. It’s best in a raised platform because of this. The remote is a bit of a learning curve so read the manual.Overall, great quality product.
My son is 8 and I bought this while he was at his dad’s for a month and I used it in my bedroom and in the living room every night until he came home. It is the coolest light I’ve ever used and I love ambiance. My son thanks me for his astronaut at least 4 times a week. Oh, and we have dropped him a few times and he still works great even with the remote.
The Nebula and the stars can be customized to fit what you need. You can customize brightness, speed of movement, or just turn off one of the elements. It has been a life saver for my finicky four year old who wants only stars one night and “Christmas Space” (red nebula, green stars) the next night. It also helps her wind down to focus on the nebula if she has any trouble sleeping. Her sleep habits have improved significantly since we started using this as her night light. My only caution would be to place/aim the light carefully. The one that creates the stars is bright and obnoxious if it’s aimed toward a person. LOVE this light. Definitely the best of its kind!
Okay so I figured why not try this thing out for like 30 something bucks. Thought it wouldn’t look all that great, but was worth a shot.Well MoonMan delivered. The quality of the light is outstanding. We have this in our tv room to set that ambiance. It works well and we have been using it everyday. No issues with it so far. Kids love it. I love it. Wife rolled her eyes at first, but loves it now. So MoonMan got his own shelf.
Really neat little toy for little and big kids. Santa gave this as a Christmas present on a whim, and it’s a hit. Plenty of reviews about the light display so won’t cover that here. What you may find is that the feet won’t fit into the hard plastic base no matter how hard you try. Simple solution is to drop base in pan of near boiling water for a few seconds until the base softens and becomes pliable. Then, manipulate the feet until they seat in the base. Base will re-harden at room temperature with feet secured. Only takes a couple minutes and then the light show can begin!
