Excellent for newborn!

I was terrified to clip my newborn’s nails, so I purchased this products in hopes for something much easier. It did not disappoint! I’ve used it twice so far, and each time it has put my little boy to sleep; I’m guessing from the light vibrations. It works wonderfully with minimal effort. You literally cannot mess it up; love this product!

Small Learning Curve, but BIG Rewards received!

This product is simple enough, my problem was with the instructions, which are only really helpful for telling me which sanding discs are good for what age child. Other than that, I do not need instructions to tell me how to put batteries into the battery compartment, or how to turn the device on. It is 2020, if you can not figure out how to put batteries in and turn it on, maybe this is not the product for you!Better Instructions Needed! I figured it out through some trial and error, even at the expense of some uncomfortableness of my child, which made me feel like a terrible father. - (1) The power button: this device does not have a simple on-off switch, it is 5 positions switch. The Manual dedicates 18 words to describe this, Being a guy who likes tools, I soon understood why you would need an off, a low, and a high speed, but why is there a Left and a Right spin direction? I believe it is because it depends on your handedness (whether you the manicurist/parent is a righty or lefty). I am right handed, and the R2 setting is great for me, the left spin options feel like it skips and starts which causes more tears. - (2) The other point which should deserve some additional space in the directions is what part of the disc to use to properly trim a squirmy child's fingernails. I have prior experience with an angle grinder, which gave me a leg-up working with this tool (if that statement does not frighten you... it should). In the circle of the disc, the middle is next to useless, you will see faster results with the fingernail towards the perimeter, not on the foam or side of the sandpaper, still on the flat side of the disc. The warning here is, at R2 it makes quick work of a baby's fingernail, and it is easy to softly sand the skin off too. Try not to do this, as it WILL make you feel like a Terrible Person.Other than that, I LOVE this Product! The old fashioned nail clippers of last century are awful! Even the ones that add lights and magnifying lenses. It is too easy to make a mistake, even if you have the correct light and naturally have 20/10 vision.I would buy this product again. And I will probably Gift it... But I will likely add an insert of my own describing these 2 points, which I make above.

Painless and efficient

I couldn’t recommend this enough. I had trimmed my newborns nails all of twice before I accidentally injured him by clipping a small amount of skin on the tip of his finger. After that incident I knew I had to find something that worked better for a wiggly baby. This thing is completely painless, efficient, quiet and of great quality for the price. My boy doesn’t mind it all. Even in his wiggliest moments, this thing does the job without anxiety of injury.

Is this even real??? Too good to be true??

Took a chance on this due to only 4 reviews at time of purchase. But all were recent and saying the same thing. We were hesitant due to low price, amount of product, and lack of reviews. But this purchase is awesome. Glad I did not buy the 34.00 option of the buzzb electric file! This was cheap and came with so many replacement heads. I also was able to get my babies nails super short!! Glad I bought this. Baby can grab the spinner portion while in use, does not hurt. My son is 4 months so, I think I'll get plenty of use. He also thinks it's a toy and is attracted to the light..So might have to wait until he is sleeping to use it. Overall super thumbs up! Tempted to buy one extra one before the price goes up when people catch on to this product.

Kid friendly

LOVE THIS!Will be recommending to all new parents!I was constantly stressed about trimming my infants super sharp nails. Babies are so squirmy! Clippers were dangerous and the Emory board never seemed sufficient. This nail file is a dream! Gets the job done efficiently and worry-free! Grows with the child with different grit files for different ages. Easy to use. My 4 year old can do his own nails now, no problem!
