This is by far the best toddler toy I've ever purchased. My 18 month old son is obsessed with it. If it gets banged around, the batteries come loose though. Nothing a little tape can't fix. Not a big deal for us at all. But the manufacturer could put the battery box a little more snug to the lid but otherwise, it is absolutely the most awesome toy ever! Stick in a little key to start it. Sounds like a car starting. Everything lights up with different switches and a metal peg thingy. I think $40 was totally worth it. It's already gotten hours of use and is just really creative and awesome. Highly recommend!
This toy is absolutely perfect for my soon to be one year old. His inquisitive attitude allows for this toy to entertain him off and on again for hours. The fact that there’s so much for him to do and to ask questions about makes for two very satisfied parents. On a side note you do need to have your own batteries for it but they do provide a screwdriver to access the battery compartment.
Bought for a 1 year old's birthday. It has a lot of fun things to click & press without being overstimulating. The horn & the turn signals are the only battery operated sounds, the other sounds are just clicks from the buttons & gears. My grandson seems to really likes this toy. It will keep him occupied for a good 10 minutes, which is pretty impressive for a 1 year old! It also came with a small screwdriver for the battery cover, which is much appreciated! The only negative we've found so far is that the batteries don't stay in their place very well. If the busy board is moved around, they tend to pop out of place requiring the use of the tiny screwdriver to open the battery cover to put them back. We ended up using some electrical tape to hold them in place, which seems to be working well so far. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product!
I’ve taken this toy on two flights with my 15 month old so far (one flight for 4 hours and one for an hour) and this keeps him occupied for a long time! I love all the switches that he can play with and having had this toy for almost two months, I see a huge improvement in his fine motor skills! He’s learned how to flip switches, turn knobs, plug things in, all without my help! We like to limit screen time so this has been a great toy for our little guy who has a tendency to enjoy learning how things work!
We bought this for my son's first birthday. We wanted something that would be interactive and he could grow with.He has had it for a month and played with it everyday. He can put the chord in and turn on one light but he is always watching and learning how to push the buttons. I think it is a great learning tool and also can keep him engaged for 4-5 minutes at a time.Whenever we have guests, it is always one that is being picked up and played with even with bigger kids.Downside is it is wood. So if you have a thrower like my boy, make sure to play with caution.Overall happy with the purchase and would buy again
